Preparation for the Norwegian A2, B1 and B2 tests

Before taking the Norwegian test "Norskprove", it is wise to have intense training in the exam elements.
In the classes (1-1 tutoring) we have specific oral and written tasks for each level.

The classes uses these two main elements:
1) Written task which will be corrected between the classes. These tasks are according to which level of the Norwegian test you are going to take. We use typical exam tasks.
2) In the classes we go through the corrections of the written tasks, in order to explain grammar and vocabulary mistakes.
Thereafter we practice oral tasks which are adjusted to the level of your exam. The tasks are of course about the same topics you might meet on the test.

Since this is a 1-1 tutoring class, it is naturally adjusted to the individual student.
Some students use the course in addition to other courses while others just need some refresh before the exam. The classes will be adapted to your needs.

Exampletasks (In Norwegian) A2-B1 og B1-B2

Norskprove A2-B1

Listening tasks - Different listening tasks which takes about 25 to 50 minutes.
Reading tasks - Different tasks showing you understand content and vocabulary, 75 minutes.
Written task - There are 3 writtens tasks. First task is to describe a picture with 80 to 100 words.
The second task is to write about a familiar topic (80-200 words) and the third task is to express own opinions regarding a topic (atleast 80 words).
In total you will get 90 minutes to answer the written tasks.

In the oral part you will be there with one other student, and you will have 3 tasks.
A) Individual task (A2 level) where you should tell and describe something about a familiar topic for 2-3 minutes. This can for example be a place you want to travel to.
B) Exchange views with the other student for 5-7 minutes. For example, discussing whether it is better to live in the city or in the country.
C) Express your own opinion (individual task) for 2-3 minutes. For example, hva is typical Norwegian?

Norskprove B1-B2

Listening tasks - Different listening tasks that takes about 25 to 50 minutes.
Reading tasks - Different tasks to show that you understand content and vocabulary, 75 minutes.
Written task - There are two written tasks. First is to express own opinions in e-mail format. Length should be 80 words.
The other one is an Essay. Here you can choose between several tasks and should argue your cases in between 250 and 350 words.
In total you will get 120 minutes to answer the written tasks.

In the oral part you will be there with one other student, and you will have 3 tasks.
A) Individual task where you should express your opinion during 2-3 minutes. Example, what is your dream job?
B) Discuss for 5 to 7 minutes about a topic. E.g. What is important to enjoy a work?
C) Express your opinion and argue for or against a statement for 2 to 3 minutes. Example, "Alcohol is too expensive in Norway"
